Almost ready for my Gecko

So my terrarium is complete. It's the 18"X18"X18" Exo-Terra. I have an appropriate sized UTH on thermostat (still regulating temp). Ceramic emitter on a rheostat and overhead lighting to simulate daytime cycle. The substrate is a porcelain tile and at present I have a dedicated moist hide by Exo-Terra and a rather complex arrangement of driftwood. Driftwood has been inert in storage for some time and poses no threat of harboring pests. I have infrared temp gun and a digital thermometers/humidistat.

I feel that the multi-tired driftwood set up provides the ability to thermoregulate while offering ample places to hide in. Does anyone see a problem with this??

Also, I should have gotten a longer set up. So anyone reading this please consider when getting into reptile keeping. I will probably be getting a second tank and keeping this one for a possible second or, temporary housing.
Reptile expo is this Sunday and I have been quite patient and am actually counting the days in anticipation.

I was set on a Blazing Blizzard, an ember or, a Tremper Albino for the most part but as soon as I saw this guy I knew he was the one. I believe he is a Bell Albino, I was told he was also possible het Radar. Not that I'm going to be breeding him. Presently, he is getting used to his surroundings. Wish me luck. I rather like this little guy. Extremely striking.

Hello Tempest,

Does anyone see a problem with this??

Are you sure you want this question answered? I'm harmless..

The CHE should be on a thermostat without a doubt. The heat is much more penetrating and these guys become quite miserable and they are prone to dehydration. I just can't imagine a proper temp gradient in this size enclosure, unless you are a professional in heating or a magician. If he starts living in his humidity hide or at the cool end with his eyes closed(chin not relaxed on the ground), at least you'll know why now.

Is the driftwood coated? The reason I ask is due to the fact that they rub their face and body to remove shed and you don't want your little guy to get splinters.

I have infrared temp gun and a digital thermometers/humidistat.

Wonderful!

Nice looking gecko. Once you add the eclipse gene to the Bells you start getting great colors even if it is just HET for RADAR. I have a het for RADAR bell and a RADAR bell that look similar and the older they get the better the colors get, especially on the tail.

I just saw this response, thank you for the input. In all honesty, the CHE is quite insignificant, it just keeps the air warm at best. I purchased the smallest wattage I could. The wood isn't coated but cannot hurt him, it is impossible to splinter it is so dense. I know because I cut it down to size with a table saw and it took forever and blade basically burned through rather than cut it.
While I like my setup and have attempted to provide a multi-dimensional plane of existence I agree I should have gotten a larger enclosure as it does look sort of cramped in there. I've come to realize that these Geckos like to live on the lowest plane possible, regardless of how many crevices, caves, etc.. exist. My Gecko actually spends most of his time in the warmer side. I have witnessed both scenarios, chin up and lying down completely so I cannot comment there.
I did need to put the overhead LED bulb on a dimmer as I noticed that he was sensitive to it. Basically, its on very faintly, only to simulate sunrise. It is nowhere near overpowering.
Once again, thank you for the input and insight.

Thank you for the reply. My Gecko looks a lot like your male. I find myself getting totally into Geckos, the morphs are unbelievable!!
