Does this sound right??

I've been a bit curious as to whether Lani is a healthy, average size. Read on a few sites that 50-85 g is healthy, so I was shocked when I put him on the scale and found that he's 140g! I weighed him five of six times just to make sure it was right, which he was not too happy about.
Lani is about 10" long from his nose to the tip of his tail. Is he just super huge, or does that sound about right? He'll be three years old this winter, and I bought him at a pet store (yes, I know better now) so I've never been sure exactly what type he is.

Lani looks like a beautiful super hypo tangerine carrot-tail baldy. He looks healthy by the looks of a nice plump tail and good body structure. Some geckos naturally grow up to be large, while some geckos are bred with giant genetics. If you got the gecko from a pet store you likely won't know whether the gecko carries giant genetics or not. But it is definitely a large, healthy looking gecko. Congrats :)
