I just recently got my first gargoyle gecko. I am not new to owning geckos I have two cresteds that I've had for over a year. I bought my garg from a reptile expo almost a month ago and have monitored him since. He is eating very well and has no problem going to the bathroom. I really want to handle him since it has been past his two weeks to settle in and he is eating well but I am a bit scared. I did handle him a little before I got him at the expo and he was sweet but very jumpy which I know are gargs are. But I was wondering if they are any tips from a pro about handling him and making it a pleasant experience for both him and I. I am just so so scared that he will jump too far past my hand and he will fall to the ground and keep jumping and then I lose him forever and/or he gets hurt from falling or crashing into something.
Please help.
