I made a new wet/humid room today. Take a look.

So I read I need a hot and a cool hide for my leo. So I made a cool one today. I saw so many that were just plastic bowls in the tank. So I made this one.






Ok So I took a butter bowl and cut the hole in for it to enter. Then I took 3 sheets of construction paper and then crumpled it up. I taped it all up underneath. Then covered in several layers of sand less grout. Then several layers of Mod Podge sealer. This is the underside of it.



It is still drying in the pic. Let it dry at least 24 hours. It just looks like a rock now.

It looks great. Is it made so you can put the "lid" back on the container to serve as the bottom of the hide?

Yes when it dries all the way I can take the tape off and it will be like a glove over the top.
