Question for bigger breeders on drawers

I watch all the videos I can learning about geckos. I keep seeing breeders with them in a stack of plastic containers in drawers. How do you keep a warm side in those ? I'm just curious :shock:

The drawers (or "rack system") have heat tape called "flexwatt" running at the bottom of each shelf, or, in some cases, at the back, and are controlled with a thermostat.
