Feeding Crickets

I have been reading through the threads for feeding crickets and have purchased some of Zoo Med's Natural Bearded Dragon Food Adult Formula. Do I just give this to them dry or do I add water to it and make a mush? Can I add my calcium and vit d3 powder as well as my vitamins to this for them to eat and then not coat the crickets anymore when I feed Rocky?
If not how often should I coat the crickets? He is still young and has been eating every day.

What supplements did you get for Rocky? Please include brand names and type.

Do not add any calcium and D3 powder or gecko multivitamins to the cricket diet when feeding normally. It will be necessary to continue to lightly dust Rocky's prey no more than 2x per week.

Feed the Zoo Med Adult Beardie Food dry. Moisture will only lead to mold.

A post immediately following the Cricket Guidelines tells how to breed your own crickets. :)

Thank you Elizabeth..once again :)
These are the vitamins that someone suggested on another site
Amazon.com: Miracle Care Vionate Vitamin Mineral Powder, 8-Ounce: Pet Supplies

And this is the calcium (which I just realized has no vit d3!!)
Amazon.com: Rep-Cal SRP00220 Phosphorous-Free Calcium Powder Reptile/Amphibian Supplement without Vitamin D3, 3.3-Ounce: Pet Supplies

I am not looking to breeding crickets...I have them in a cricket keeper.
I should ask too what should I feed the meal worms and how often?
I hope I posted the links right..
Thanks again!

I don't know anything about Miracle Care's Vionate vitamin and mineral supplement.

What I like and recommend is
Zoo Med's Reptivite (multivitamin) with D3/vitamin A acetate &
Zoo Med's Repti-Calcium with D3

Rarely used mealworms. They are high in chitin and fat. Maybe mealies can eat what I recommend for crickets? (The Cricket Guidelines contain way more info than just breeding! They suggest 3 different dry diets for crickets...way better than what we might toss together from veggies and whatever. They contain links to the FDA for checking out the calcium to phosphorus ratio of any food, set up info, and so on.)

I would lightly dust the crickets/mealworms 1x per week with each.

Monday: Dust 1/4 of the bugs with the Reptivite with D3
Thursday: Dust 1/4 of the bugs with Reptivite with D3
Sat: Repti-Calcium with D3

D3 helps metabolize the calcium.

Even if you have Repti-Calcium without D3, I would not add it to the food you feed your mealworms,

Glad that you will find my Leo Caresheet a good resource. :)
