Tail loss ? How to care for

My year old grandis just lost his tail during the night. I need to know how to care for him now. Gets calcium with D3, no apparent issues with MBD. He is in a large tall vivarium. He has been hanging upside down a lot lately...
How longs does it take to grow back, and how can I help him do so.
There is lots of info on creates, and leopard geckos, but I can't find info on phelsuma tail regeneraton

Thanks

I would care for it just the same, meaning not doing anything at all besides keeping an eye on it for signs of infection. Continue providing good husbandry and it should regenerate(although not as pretty) without any complications. Providing more horizontal and diagonal perches vs. vertical can help prevent floppy tail.

Well his tail has grown back... This was a very interesting process. It is pink so far, but I can see the smooth flesh coloured smooth texture start to develop scales. I was so freaked out when I found that the tail had fallen off, but glad it has regenerated over the last couple of months without complications.
