How often to place moist hide in cage?

I have my lg in a tub setup and I was wondering if i need to place the moist hide in all the time?
Or can I just place it everytime she is shedding?
I always look up videos of lg's like sasobek's and other channels in youtube and they dont have it in all the time though.

It's advisable to keep it in 24/7 for hydration purposes. Yes your geckos don't shed 24/7, but they will use the hide to get hydrated. Some actually really like it and will spend most their time in it. Place it in the tank over the UTH so that it gets warm. It's kinda like a little gecko sauna hehe.
