Hello everyone , My name is Andy !!

First off , I would like to introduce myself and say that I am the father of 3 beautiful children, their ages are 10, 7, and almost 2. they are the greatest !!

Next I would like to tell everyone about my animals ( I have a small zoo lol ) ...the wife and I currently have : 1 grumpy Jack Dempsey cichlid ( Jack ) , 9 other mixed tropical fish , 1 male Russian Tortoise ( Odin ), 2 Red Ear Sliders ( koopa and Chauncey ), 2 Veiled chameleons ( Jam-ilia and Oliver ) , a very sassy bearded dragon ( Phoenix ), a Syrian hamster ( baby game ) , a meal worm colony , a Dubia colony, and finally , the reason why I have joined this community , 2 female leopard Geckos ( un named as of now )

I received the leos from craigslist got them both for $15 as a known breeder in the area was downsizing , they are mother and daughter . its really cute , if I pick the younger on up and after a bit place her back in their enclosure , the mother one will lick and smell the younger one to, what i believe, is make sure the younger one is not hurt .

anyways I’m glad i have found a large community for these lil guys as i know i have a bit to learn even though I am highly experienced in other reptiles/amphibians

They are currently in a 10 gal, with dry hide, UTH, moist hide, and water dish all on newspaper [ as I have a paper route so its free  ]...I will be placing them into a 30 gal long aquarium as soon as winter is past so i can place my red ear sliders back outside

I have many pictures of all my animals minus the leos as of yet but will post all as soon as i can get some good shots of them

Welcome GU. Here is a very detailed care sheet for leopard geckos you can follow this like a bible

About the two Leo's being mother and daughter make sure there isn't much size difference as I just learned today, even if they been housed together before they're being moved to a new home they will be a bit territorial and the little one might get hurt. You might want to house them separately if possible. If not them monitor constantly for any aggression

they were housed prior , there is not much of a size difference and they seem to be fine , i have had them about a month now and things are going pretty smooth , the mother has shed and the other is currently about to shed , both are eating just fine but i will keep a good eye on them as i don't want any injuries

:yahoo: as long as they fine. Just remember there are always case reporting aggression arise when they get a bit older 5+. Can't wait see pictures of your Leo's.

I am looking to buying a female infant. I am in the research stage.good to hear they don't mind being handled
