I have a female? Leopard gecko.her? Name is Mario.shes a cutie but I'm hoping she's okay.all of her tank mates have been great together. It happened in the last 30 minutes because she had no bites 30 minutes ago. Is there any ointment I can give her to prevent infection?the good news is she just accepted 5 crickets, her normal diet. When you look at this picture could you tell me if this is a battle or breeding bite? i have plenty of room for the eggs.i have an open 50 gallon and a ten gallon, which I just moved her to.here it is:image.jpgim so worried for her!please reply.:?

I can´t really tell from the picture because it is blurry, and the red markings actually make it harder to see, let me try to get this by asking a few questions:
How large is her tank?
Does she have permanent cagemates? If so, how many? And what sexes?
For how long have they been together?

Mating bites should never leave a mark, or torn the skin, as far as I understand it

Her tank was a 50 gallon shared with two tank mates.my male? Lucky Did this.i separated her into a ten gallon.the tank mates are too little to tell what age, they are all juveniles.they have been in there for 2 weeks but I had no issues. What ointment can I use to prevent infection?

That looks more like an aggressive bite. After breeding my females they never have any marks on them.
She also looks to be a bit too small to be breeding.

How many leos share the enclosure and how many are male vs. female ?

That bite looks like a bit more than a mating nip.

Honestly--your gecko needs it's own tub, food supply and a very quiet area and fresh water and needs to be kept on tub plastic floor which should be cleaned daily, needs an under tank heater--it is way thin, way way thin. There are many resources to review about basic leopard gecko care. Thanks to this post I will probably be banned or supervised for being "mean" but you are responsible for it- each gecko needs it's own tub--get online on your ipad and review the basics.
