Why haven't I seen my Pictus gecko shed yet?

Hi, I have had my pictus gecko for 7 months and it's just becoming a juvenile since it's about 8months to one year and not once have I seen it shed or seen skins but I know they eat there skins. Can anyone help me on this please? Also can you also check my IS MY TERRARIUM SETUP GOOD OR NOT thread I still need an answer?

It's probably shedding late at night. Don't worry, it is shedding. I'll leave the terrarium feedback to more experienced pictus keepers.

My pictus never leave shed laying around. And when they are in the midst of shedding, they are in their humid hide anyway so there is not much to see. You should notice they get awfully light in color just before a shed, and almost look dusty. Most geckos don't like to be bothered while shedding so I wouldn't expect them to come out of hiding and show you. If your terrarium conditions are right(humidity) then the shed should go quick (a matter of minutes). Just before it comes loose you'll see your gecko rubbing against something rough that's in the tank, usually starting on their head and face. Once a little bit is loose, they get it in their mouth and pull it off while eating it simultaneously.

You know now that you mention it he has been hiding in his moist hide and I guess he was rubbing the coarse items I thought he just liked to climb for the grip awesome thanks.
