Do leos like change?

My girls love that hide - and will often share it, even though they have multiples to choose from.

Same here. Mine is always in his cool hide but he has the small version of this hide on his warm side. He just grew out of it so fast.

Sometimes change is necessary like when we outgrow our clothes! ;-)

I use the medium as my leo's warm DRY hide. She is 9 total inches and ~72 grams. Unless your leo is some giant morph the medium size will probably be a good choice for life.

PS: You mention your leo is always in his cool hide. How about verifying your cage temps? Leos often spend the majority of time in their warm DRY hides. Hope the size is the only issue.

Me too. Because I checked the temps last night and it was 91 in his warm dry hide. He used to be in his warm hide a lot but sense he has gotten bigger he doesn't use it much. He does come out between 6 and 7 every night and stays out until morning. He normally lays on the middle or on the warm side when he is out so I'm hoping a bigger hide will help.

There's a hide I took a picture of (front and back) which also works well if you place it with the holes towards the ground. Perhaps as a second hide? My female loves it, although it's a bit too tight (facing down) for the males. I have been searching to see if there's a way to cut some of the inside material to make the space larger, but I'm not sure it's possible.

I bought Rex a spaceship hide and I figured he'd be suspicious of it for a while and maybe would reject it altogether. As soon as he finished eating (what he was doing when I put it in his tank) he went right in and made himself at home. He spends most of his time in it. A week later, I took out his formerly favorite hide (he still has two others besides the spaceship) so he'd have a little more room to walk around. He explored and poked his nose into every corner of his tank and ... went right back into his spaceship. LOL I'd say change is fine with leos.
