Benefits of a bath?

Hi, so I know you would give a bath if a leo has stuck shed. But are there any other benefits of giving a leo a bath every so often like hydration or anything? Thanks

A warm bath may help if you suspect impaction. I only use it for stuck shed - generally for my medically fragile gecko - as I find that it can stress the geckos, so may end up being less than helpful.

Believe it is also good for hydration for leopard geckos and keeping skin moisturised, but the stress is the only negative.

Rex HATES getting wet. He sometimes wades in his water dish of his own volition, but it has to be his idea. If I try misting him, I get the old stink eye and he won't have anything to do with me for the rest of the day.

Lol I must have two weird Leo's because they love soaking in there water dish I mean for hour. Those two are the only ones the other kind of hate water.

Yes there water dish in there tank. Jack and Ruby are there name and they have been doing that there whole life .I do not give none of my leos bath and i can say that they have not had any problem they are both around two years old

If they are soaking in there water dish in their tank its generally because of another reason, most likely not humid enough, or too warm!

I thought the same thing but ever thing checks out temp humid I even had them check for mite they check out fine I had there poop check. They just like to soak, weird I know they have always done for like two year

Maybe try turning the temp down in the warm end some leos prefer it at different temp
