Remember this little guy I purchased in January from petsmart?

Well after having him a few months turns out he IS a boy. And he's gotten so big now, with a ice fat tail.

The lighting is so horrible but he is getting soem orange on his tail and his eyelids are blue. Hence the name "blue" he is adorable and super friendly, he finally weighs an ounce. I feed him crickets and mealworms and he is still so quietly when he hunts.
Anyways just thought I'd give you guys an update on him:)

Hi Cuppencake,

They don't have the mental capacity to wink at people. Look very closely at his eyes and make sure there's no retained shed in his eyes. Sometimes it's very difficult to see, especially if it's a small amount in the inner corner of the eyes.

There is none. He's been winking since I've gotten him, before he even started shedding. He's actually pretty smart dunno what you're talking about. *~*

I'm just trying to inform you that they are not smart enough to wink at you. They wink or close one eye for other reasons. Sometimes if their eyes are too dry, you will notice excessive blinking. This will provide you with a more common reason as to why they close one eye and understand their vision better.
