Both clutches have been bad and mold problems

I've had two clutches from one female. Both clutches have ended up dead. Both times I had an issue with mold. I use the .8 to 1 water to vermiculite ratio and I use the hovabator incubator. The temp stays constant between 84 and 86, measured by two thermometers. I put the clutch in a deli cup with the substrate, all the holes covered. My female is very healthy, as is the male. The female started off the breeding season at 68 grams and is now 56. So she's losing weight but she's still healthy. Her tail is still thick. What am I doing wrong?

Very sorry to hear about the clutches. You're not necessarily doing anything husbandry wise wrong, sometimes, eggs just don't hatch.

Well if your humidity is correct, some breeders believe the only reason a egg grows mould is due to the embryo inside either being weak or dead.
