How often should I feed?

I feed my gecko about 6 small mealworms every night. I'm going on a vacation in a few weeks and was hoping to get him on an every other day feeding schedule to help the person feeding him. Is it possible to get him to every other day, and if so how much should I feed him?

You can have the petsitter put in a days worth of food and a little extra just in case after they feed and right before they leave. I've left mine a weekend before and it worked out well.

Keep feeding your Leo everyday before you leave. Depending on how long you are leaving for you may not have to fed the Leo at all. 3-4 days and you do not even need to worry about having somebody feed him at all unless he is very young or underweight. A nice fat, plump tail is a good sign that the Leo will not be harmed from a few days of not eating.

A full grown healthy adult could go a week no problem as long as you have a good humid hide and available fresh water.

Thanks for the replys! I will be gone for 9 days so I will definitely have my friend feed him. He is almost a year old.
