Help with superworms

So I got 25 superworms for my Leo yesterday and I go in there container today and none of the, are moving they are all stiff???!!!! Not black... They weren't in the fridge or anything HELP!!:yikes::(

Did you check the superworms before taking them home? Some pet stores have the superworms around for a really long time before they sell. I always open the container and count to make sure it contains an approximate number of live supers. I've opened containers that have no live ones. If you still have your sales receipt, take back the container and show it to a manager. They should replace it for you, but check the new container. Whatever you do, don't put them in the fridge. Unlike mealworms, they will die in the fridge.

I second what completeleopard says! I've had them try to bite me before, I can't imagine Edgar having one thrashing around in his mouth. :shock:

When I feed super worms to my leopard geckos, they usually move the worm around with their mouths until they get to the head which they crunch. I've never had a problem.
