Are there any banded gecko breeders (Texas or Tucson type) or specific places to buy them? I'd be interested in picking some up locally in New Mexico, although I haven't heard of any here. I saw that Aliza breeds them. If you're reading this Aliza, could you let me know if you have any available this year?
Otherwise, I'd be interested in collecting my own. The drive is about 3-5 hours away and my previous field collecting trip was absolutely fruitless (though it was my first time). Any tips on where to find them? I have the spot map from the New Mexico Reptiles field guide, but the area is so wide that I spent most of my time driving and trying to find a suitable place to park other than the side of the road (which I worry would be dangerous).
