This is my new Enigma, I decided to name him 'Lumen'.
He was a paid rescue, aquired from someone who admitted they were not able to care for him, and had gotten him from someone else who wasn't properly caring for him. I immediately fell in love with him and seeing how thin and cold he was, had to take him home to make sure he grows big & healthy (I've brought geckos in worse condition back to health).
He has a moderate to severe case of E.S.(Enigma Syndrome), and was spinning and falling over non-stop when I went to get him and bring him home. I put him alone in his new tank with everything he needed (very simple with a few low rocks and hides), covered all 4 sides and left him with a bowl of mealworms. When I came to check on him 30 min later he was eating them (with terrible aim, mainly biting the sides of the bowl) so I held it tilted for him while he ate. I was doing that a few times daily, and he's now getting much better with his aim. He has stopped 80% of his abnormal behaviours (though he still stumbles and a bit clumsy due to his lack of balance), his E.S. symptoms seem reduced. His colours are getting brighter and he is the only gecko i've had that will chase my hand down when i'm working in the tank just to climb up and sit on it
Here are some pics of him, the first collage showing him the day I got him and the second one is a few days later, looking better already in my opinion!
I'll post updates on this thread as he progresses
he's such a beauty I had to share!
