When we told people we were getting a leopard gecko, they kept asking us what we were gonna call him and we would reply "dunno" which eventually just turned into Donut.
Since we already had Donut, the new little girl is named Eclair. I guess it's just turned into this sort of pastry-theme for them!
Nicknames so far include: fat/gay sausage (don't ask, I don't even know) and lazy/little butt
