Feeding juvenile iguana food to crickets

Hello, I have some leftover Exoterra Soft pellets for juvenile iguanas. It contains d3, multivitamin, is high in protein.
I was wondering if I should throw it away or is it ok to feed crickets with it. I've done it once to try it and they loved it.

What animal will be eating the crickets?

Me, I'd use it, but I wouldn't make it a staple. Mix some in with your regular gutload over time.

I have no scientific basis for this suggestion, but I've done similar without any issue.

I wouldn't feed anything with ethoxyquin in it even to a feeder.

I cannot get to the studies I want at the moment but here is a bit of info to read.
Ethoxyquin in Pet Foods
It seems as if it does transfer from prey to predator but in smaller amounts than originally consumed.
