Flipped eyelid from shedding issue?

My leo had trouble shedding the patch of skin from the tip of his nose, left side, to the corner of his mouth and eyelid, right side. I gave him a couple of days to see if he could get it off, but I noticed it prevented him from opening his right eye all the way. I put him in a humid hide for 30 minutes and he finally let me peel the skin off with tweezers. A huge chunk of slimy skin came off! He can now open his eye fully but I noticed his bottom lid now looks different than the left eye - it's almost like the lower lid has flipped over. It is black and looks slightly saggy. I can see the yellowish lip below it, which is normally all I see.

If you think his eye lid is flipped and he had that awful of a shed you need to take him to a reptile vet ASAP.

I would also get him off the sand. Geckos lick up sand occasionally without even eating not to mention its incredibly unsanitary and grains can even get in eyes and scratch them.

There should be a moist hide regardless of humidity. It's evident by the bad shed. It's important for hydration as well as to give a place of even higher humidity to ease shedding.

I would suggest taking him to a vet for a check on that eye. It could get infected or get particles in it being flipped like that.
