Hello, I am fairly new to Geckos. I did a lot,ALOT of Research...and believe my Husbandry is Correct...They Are all eating, pooping, and shedding Great! I have 14 Leos right now, and have a few breeding groups right now..i have a 1.2 shtct group, a 1.2 Bold stripe, Bandit group... and a 1.1 Aptor/Raptor group....the Other Leos I have are a 1.0 Giant Mack Snow het tremper, a 0.1 Mack snow het tremper... a 0.1 Eclipse.. A 0.1 Tremper Albino....A 1.0 Tremper Albino....a 0.1 Eclipse, and a 1.0 Rainwater Albino, and a 1.0 Tangerine....I was just wondering What some of you Veteran Experienced Breeders would combine, and for what Morph?

you do know that you posted two times. oh and i would try a reptile calculator. it doesn't have tangerines or any tangerine type morph but it has all the other morphs i think. im going to start simple for my breeding program. i'm just going to have 1 pair.

Welcome. It's great you were able to do the research. Here are some things to think about (which you may have already thought about, but I"ll lay them out anyway):
1. Make sure you don't end up crossing albino strains (since I see you have both Tremper and rainwater). This includes making sure you don't mix up the eggs so as not to know which are the tremper and which are the rainwater

2. Be really sure you want to breed all those leos. This past season (my 10th) I bred 8 females, got upwards of 50 offspring from 6 of them and besides the fact that I have spend hours every day feeding etc., it's now Jan. and I still have about 25 of them to sell. If you overextend yourself you won't enjoy it and you'll then have a whole lot of geckos to move. Start small.

3. Many people ask which combinations they should do. I feel pretty strongly that if someone is ready to breed they should also be ready to look at the traits they have, think about what they want to produce, think about what will be produced depending on the traits they pair, and figure it out for themselves. To me it makes more sense to let us know what the plan is and then ask for feedback.

4. This article I wrote for Gecko Time may be helpful:
