Abronia taeniata

Hello!!

Willing to find a mate for my Abronia graminae Black eye male, I purchased a female that was sold as a female A. graminea Black Eye. But beyond further look it appeared she was an Abronia taeniata instead. She is 3 years old
So here is my big lady.

Hopefully I ll find correspondant mate for both species

Yann, your taeniata looks amazing, you got her at the Hamm show?
I don't think finding a male for her should be as hard as finding a black eye graminea female, they show up pretty often on Terraristik and other classified sites, and single males usually are being offered for a descent price as well.
If you like i can help you keep an eye out for one.

No he is not, this is a forum dedicated to ALL species of gecko.., leo's are just 1 of those species. :roll:

Well obviously she is a graminae black eye after all.
The original german breeder told me it is a mutation called Harlequin, only occurs with female, not male reported yet.
During the fresher time, she is much darker and looks indeed very brown like the graminea black eye male I have.
They are not outside, basking and hidding during the higher temp of the day under the sphagnum on the ground

Well the more I look at her, I compare her with other graminea, the more I think she is an hybride.
Still keeping her but won't breed her
