Plants for terrarium?

I was thinking of adding a few live plants to the terrarium. I know they come from the desert so along those lines I was thinking succulents which thrive when barely watered and can take root in almost anything.

I know its not necessary so if its not a good idea I wont.

I am currently driving with a brother from Pakistan, he says the Eyelash Geckos are found in all four Provinces. So he says dry grassy areas and rocks with cracks he didnt mention plants just trees and grass/shrubs "dry" he didnt mention desert but that doesn't necessarily mean it not. I guess.

I think CB Leos wouldn't care or know the difference. Probably would just think " oh I have to walk around that"

Sorry. I currently have 3 nationalities arguing about Geckos (I'm on Jamaat). I meant Leopard Geckos...

I just wanted them in the corners , They wouldn't even be in the way there. I miss succulents, My cat decided to murder all mine :( I thought this would be a way to make the cage look nice and possibly keep plants again.

Yes succulents are some of the best plants to keep with leopard geckos. Just make sure they dont have any pointy spikes on them that could harm your gecko. They can be used for your personal looks of your cage. I thought about getting one for my cage but never did and dont really have room. The only problem is leopard geckos dont like bright lights, so you may come across problems with growing them in cages because even though succulents dont need as much light as others, they still need some. So it wouldnt hurt to try. Ive read that the green ones live the longest without light. The red ones are more light hungry.

Someone suggested to me to have two succulents and rotate them in and out of the tank, when out of the tank let them be exposed to a good growing light. You will have better success at keeping them alive this way. But you could always experiment and see what works. I think without much light they will slowly die after a couple of months.

I don't like pointy plants either so the geckos and I have that in common. The cage will be near a window so that may be all the light they need. we will see.
