Hi everyone,
I know some of you saw my previous post about making our new girl a realistic home, well after finishing the 1st one, DH and I were just not happy how it turned out, so we started over. It was actually much easier the 2nd time (took longer though as it is more intricate), as we knew what we were doing, but are a lot happier with the outcome. It has been airing out about 5 days (outside in the sunshine) and we just got it set up in the tank. I will take some more pics once she is in her new home, but it is complete with a warm moist and dry hide and a cool hide. We used tile as the flooring, even though it does not look like it, the tile is completely exposed under the warm hides so she will be getting full heat in those areas. Thanks.

Just had to update, since this one looks so different from the first. 20150505_205720_resized.jpg

Looks awesome! I like it better than the old design. Easy access to the cool hide from behind? I like that you elevated the cool hide, keeps floor room open and looks neat!

It actually has a lid that comes off. I will try to take some pics Of all the hides with the tops off. I made sure all of them have easy acess. I have to keep on DH bc he tends to wat everything to look good, I am more about function ,guess who cleans and feeds ;-) but I think we did pretty good getting both for this one. Thanks.

No i meant can you gecko get into the cool hide from the back? On the cool hide, the hole on the front looks hard for a gecko to access. And yes it is always a good idea to be able to get into the hides!

Yeah I thought of that after I posted. Yes there is an entrance ground level with the steps. The front hole is for me to be able to visually check with out distorting her. She has been enjoying her new set up today.
