Hello! Getting my first GDG in a couple days and an setting up my first naturalistic terrarium. I ordered a bromeliad Neoregelia olens ‘696’ for the tank. It has some small spikes and probably a sharp tip to the leaves. Though it is less fearsome than many of the bromeliads I've seen. Do you think this will be safe for have in the vivarium. It is a 55gallon 48" long, 21" high, 13" wide. thank you.

I've had frogs and skinks with a much bigger, Aechmea fasciata which has more 'lethal-looking' serrated leaves and never had issues. I'm sure they'll manage with yours :)

It should be fine. You should also realize that once the bromeliad "flower" dies, the plant will not bloom again. For best results, break off one of the bromeliad's "pups" (little bromeliad growing off the side), remove the one that bloomed and plant the new one. I've had a gold dust day gecko for about 8 years and have "recycled" her bromeliad 3 times.
