It's been some time since I've visited so I thought I'd a share a couple updated pics of Siren and Valor. Both of my girls are doing fantastic and I still think that leopard geckos make the most wonderful pets for me and my family. :)

Thanks Elizabeth! I love photography and Siren & valor are my favorite photo subjects.

Leopard geckos have such beautiful eyes and I tried to capture Valor's black and silver eyes with a nice close-upshot. Here's another one of Valor pulled back some.

Those are great pictures, clearly you're not using just a camera phone! I love how the detail of the eyes show up! Thanks for posting them!

They are very gorgeous Monkeystyle. You did a great job catching such wonderful photos also, Valor has stunning eyes and Siren is just gorgeous. Out of curiosity, what morphs are they?

Thank you very much for the kind words! I got both of my girls at Petsmart for $14.95 each! I have learned so much and appreciate all the wonderful advice and direction that is available on this forum. Siren and Valor are living happy and healthy lives as a result of the good care techniques I learned from the knowledgeable gecko keepers here.

Since I do not know the background of my girls I just have to guess by their appearance. Siren is a super hypo tangerine carrot tail, but I’m still a little fuzzy on what to call Valor’s morph. She has the same beautiful orange color with a spattering of black spots/partial stripe down her back. I used to refer to her as a high yellow, but I honestly don’t know. Regardless, I think they are both gorgeous and I love them to pieces. 

Here's a better pic of Valor's pattern

Thank you Todd! I use a Canon Rebel T3and I'm pretty happy with the results. Valor seems to know that it's pose time when i'm taking her photo, but Siren always thinks it's adventure time when she is out of her tank so she is usually not into the whole posing thing. There's just too much to explore! :)

Well regardless of the morphs of the girls, they are beautiful. Glad to hear that they have such a loving friend/owner now! I also got my boy Apollo from a pet store, though his was more of a rescue than a normal purchase. If not for this place and the wonderful people I do not know if he would be doing as well as he is. Everybody here has been so helpful in getting him back into good health. However, he is far more camera shy than your girls

Here are the before and after pictures of Apollo so you can see what I mean by rescue

Wow! What a lucky gecko to have you to help get him healthy again! He certainly is a handsome fellow, even if he is a little camera shy. :)
