Meet Bo and Thai

It occurred to me that after spending so much time here talking about my leo's that I've never introduced my boa's. So, here are Bo and Thai, about 17 months old, hanging out with me. CAM00413.jpg

Bo has an interesting little smiley face mark on him, I love showing it off to people.

Thai has taken to reaching on feeding days before I take him from his tank and put him in the feeding enclosure. He's getting quite a stretch to him!

These guys have been with me for a little over a year now, with this summer being so warm and muggy we've been able spend a lot of time outside together. I never let them down on the ground, but I think they like to hang out on me and some of the more receptive neighbors.

Good to see you all and hear about Bo and Thai.

At first I thought, now where are the little legs, but then I realized this was posted in Other Herps! (There are "other" herps!) :)

Sounds like these boas are becoming known in your neighborhood.

They are beautiful Todd! I had actually never seen a Salmon morph before until I saw your signature. Had to look them up, the pictures online do not do your boys justice!

Thank you! They are beautiful animals!

Actually, for salmon's, my guys dark areas are a bit darker than most. They have been fading slightly with each shed, so it will be interesting to see what they look like next summer. Actually, I hope they don't fade too much, the brown is such a rich hue!

I always have found the darker patterns on snakes to be more striking. Hopefully they don't fade too much.
Funny how I am the opposite when it comes to Leos though.
EDIT: Also very good to know you keep them off of the ground, risk is minimal for any problems from it. It still bothers me seeing people put reptiles on the ground that has who knows what on it.
