How tall should a crested gecko's vivarium be?

I'm trying to get a new crested gecko, but I think my vivarium is too short. How tall should a crested gecko's be? What is considered too short?

I always say the taller the better with as much foliage and things to climb on.
You can always turn your tank on its side. I've done this with most of my tanks. I have 2 30 gallon longs that I've turned upright for my cresties.

A 20 gal long turned on its side makes a perfect cage for a crestie, and gives them plenty of height.

That's a standard 10 gallon aquarium, do you have any pictures of the crestie? If it's on the smaller side, that should be fine so it can find it's food. Anything bigger needs more height than width, you can always turn that one on it's side and either make a screen door for it or purchase a conversion kit.

No, I haven't gotten the gecko itself yet, as I am trying to get a terrarium up and ready a new one to move in.

Full grown adults can be housed in something 18-24" tall, little ones can be kept in a medium size critter keeper or smaller aquarium until they get to a certain weight.
