How mature is my buck?

This is my little buckskin (well not so little anymore) that I purchased from petco roughly 3-4 months ago...maybe 5 I'm back at time keeping.

Just wondering if she is large enough to sex, I'm saying she because if it is, it's definitely a she. I have to scale to weight otherwise I'd be able to estimate the maturity of her. She's a little chubster for sure though.

I'm also posting photos of her lay box I'm introducing into her cage so she gets comfortable with the new foreign object filled with moist sphagnum moss. I'm just wondering if it's the appropriate size/depth for a lay box.

If it is a she, is she worth breeding? Or will her genes override any morph genes that breed with her? Because she is a buck right? She has a wee bit of dalmatian spots but not even close to 30%.

Bottle cap is for size reference.

She looks large enough to accurately sex. You don't have a weight on her? If you post a clear, we'll lit picture of the vent along with how much she weighs I can give you a sex determination.
Her lay box looks to be of a good size. But if she's not at least 35 grams then she's not ready yet.
Crested genetics are basically a crapshoot. If you breed two similarly colored/patterned animals, you increase the probability of the offspring being similar. However, they can still throw random patterns. For instance, if you breed two extreme harleys the chances of you getting extreme harleys from the pair is higher. If you breed a harley with a patternless, you have the chances of getting both a harley and a patternless and lots of other variations.
If she is up to weight, it's up to you if you want to breed her. My personal taste in geckos requires high standards so I would say no. But only because I prefer high pattern animals.

Yeah I don't have the capability to weigh at this moment in time, but if your guessing she is of size to be sexed then she is definitely a she. Pores should be visible even if the hemipenal bulge hasn't dropped at that size, and she has no visible pores.

I think I might breed her when she is ready so I can let some friends have a crestie, and to get myself prepared for breeding high patterns.

Just based on the size of her in the pictures and if you don't see any pores, I think it's safe to assume female.

I'd say 90% sure it's a female as i don't see any pores in that picture. But not knowing the weight.... means that she could drop some...
You can get a cheap kitchen gram scale at walmart for like 10-$15.
