Looks like my original thread didn't post or was deleted or something. Apologies if this show up twice.
Anyway, I'm looking at getting a ceramic bulb for my viv as a secondary heat source. I already have a UTH, but the cold side of my tank is really cold. My room doesn't get a lot sunlight, so it stay pretty cool until summer hits. I assume that's why Rizzo stays in her warm hide a lot and it may have a little to do with her lack of appetite. But I'm wondering what wattage I should get? Or voltage or what... I've seen from 50 to 200. I just need to raise the cool side about 10-15 degrees (its measuring around 60-65 now) so I don't need anything that will bake the thing but need something strong enough to work. I really really don't want to buy the wrong one, than have to turn around and buy a new one a week later! I've done that with almost all of my reptile stuff! (know anyone who wants to buy some reptile stuff???)
My tank is 20gals long (don't know the exact measurements) with carpet substrate. I assume that's important.
