Pooping outside of the cage?

So last night, Scooter climbed right up on my arm and I let her crawl around the bed. Things were going normally, she was climbing around on the bed and on me when suddenly...she pooped on my leg :yikes:

Mostly I was just annoyed and had to change jeans. (I felt TOTALLY justified in not spending the remainder of the evening working on a submission for Gecko Time's "Beloved Gecko" series :angry

Seriously, however...is this common? I'm so used to her using her pooping corner in the cage. I'm assuming that she just had to go, or that maybe walking around so much loosened the bowels. I just hope she hasn't decided that my jeans are her new pooping spot! :yikes:

Since she's in the cage so often, I can't imagine her holding it in until she's on your jeans. You just lucked out that time!

Seriously I was annoyed, but the whole thing was so absurd that I found it kind of comical. Such strange little creatures geckos are...

Me later that night: Yeah, that's right, you stay in your room!
Scooter: *yawns indifferently and goes back into her hide*
