How often to clean reptile carpet?

I house my Leo on repti carpet. However, I have 3 paper towels in the cage. One is on his poop spot, one is under his water bowl, the last is where I put the feeders. I remove the paper towel on his poop spot when there is poop immediately after I see it. I remove the feeding paper towel when there is a lot of juice, calcium dust, insect parts on it. I replace the water dish paper towel once a month or after there is a water spill. So how often should the repti carpet be cleaned since the poop and insect parts and calcium never get on the carpet directly?

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question. Although, I recommend you use Eco earth instead of reptile carpet. Your gecko's claws can get caught or even pulled off by the reptile carpet, and Eco earth would allow your gecko to dig. Also, your gecko can get underneath the carpet (not a problem unless done on the warm side).
