Hi,
I have been stalking this fourm for a while now and I finally got my first leopard gecko a week ago.
She's in a 20l tank and loves running around and eating.
She stargazes a bit and will ocassionally spin in circles, but has been doing that less since she has calmed down in her new home. She forgets that the waterbowl has water in it sometimes though...
She is very friendly, but still spooks a little with handling. She is still quite tiny.
What do you guys think of her? I was told she was a mack snow, but I bought her at the petstore I work at, so they are not labled by morph.

Have you ever considered Eco earth or tile as a substrate? Eco earth lets your gecko dig and lasts for six months at a time, and tile conducts heat very well, is permanent, easy to clean, etc.

Right now, I have the repticarpet since she is so young. I have heard of leos eating eco earth and that it is hard to control desert humidity.
I am thinking of tile eventually. I have seen others on tile before and their tanks look really nice.
I was also thinking sand and tile mix when she gets older. I have heard that well washed, nonsilica based play sand works. That would make it easier to add some live plants.
