Okay so I have both two geckos and a young bearded dragon, and while their temps are at safe levels I know they could be so much better.
What are the cheapest options for this? And just the most convenient? and just so I know for sure, what are the best temps for both the geckos and a beardie? I'm kinda new at this and different websites all give me different information.

Okay so I feel like this is a silly question, but how do you clean reptile sand?
I personally don't use it, the woman I got my two full-grown geckos from used it,but I got rid of it. I was thinking of making a corner of their tank a little sandy patch but I have no idea how I'd even clean it. Or is that just a bad idea overall? All opinions are welcome since I'm kinda new to the reptile mom life.

Good morning and a warm welcome to GU.

I can help with leo questions, but need a bit more info.

  • What is their substrate right now?
  • Size of enclosure?
  • Sexes and sizes of these leos?
Leos require ground temps from 88-92*F under their warm dry hide as measured by the probe of a digital thermometer (or a laser temp gun) and cool end ground temps of 68-75*.

Sift the feces from the sand first. Then sterilize the sand by baking it or by boiling it for about 15 minutes.
