Is this a good supplement schedule?

Now I am getting my leopard gecko VERY soon so I need to get the supplement stuff out of the way. I have the three types of supplements. I have the Rep-Cal Herptivite, the Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3, and the Zoomed Reptile calcium without D3. Now, what I thought I was going to do is leave a bowl in the tank of the Zoomed Reptile calcium without D3, and feed him the Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3 5 days of the week and the Rep-Cal Herptivite two days of the week. Is this good idea. And help is VERY needed. Thank you

Schedule example

Sun-Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3
Mon-Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3
Tues-Rep-Cal Herptivite
Wed-Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3
Thurs-Rep-Cal Herptivite
Fri-Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3
Sat-Zoomed Reptile calcium with D3
IN TANK- Reptile calcium with D3

Or do a schedual like this

Monday- Calcium with no D3
Tuesday- Calcium with D3
Wednesday- Calcium with no D3
Thursday- Multivitamins
Friday- Multivitamins
Saturday- Calcium With D3
Sunday- Multivitamins

What ever you think I should do let me

Rep-Cal herptevite contains beta carotene. Studies show that chameleons can't convert beta carotene into vitamin a. This probably applies to other insectivore lizards such as leopard geckos and probably apply to carnivorous reptiles like snakes, monitor lizards, crocodilians as beta carotene is found in plant based foods and reptiles that eat animals like insects, mice, fish, etc, probably won't have evolved to be able to use beta carotene as they don't encounter it. So buy Zoo Meds Reptivite without d3 and replace the Rep-Cal with the reptivite.

A warm welcome to Geckos Unlimited!

I also recommend switching out the Herptivite for Reptivite multivitamins without D3.

Your potential schedule shows too frequent D3. D3 is a fat soluble vitamin, so it's metabolized over time. Ya only need "sooooo" much! Leaving a bowl of plain calcium in the tank can do more harm than good.

If you get a leo 12 mo or younger, here's a good schedule. If you get an older leo, click on the caresheet at the bottom of my signature. Then scroll to posts 125 and 126 to see how the schedule changes. Follow the post numbers on the left.

  • Use Zoo Med Repti Calcium with D3 1x per week. Lightly dust it on half the crickets or dubia, not every one.
  • Use plain (no D3) Zoo Med ReptiVite multivitamins lightly dusted on crickets or dubia every other week or 2x per month. Maybe only half of them.
  • Use some plain precipitated calcium carbonate (purer than oyster shell calcium). The NOW brand sold in health foods stores is ideal.
Feed finely ground Zoo Med's Natural Adult Bearded Dragon Food (or an equivalent high quality dry diet) 24/7 to the insects and worms to cover the basics. Add high calcium, low phosphorus veggies like collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, and pesticide-free dandelion flowers/greens in a dish off to the side for extra calcium and for moisture! Vary your leopard gecko's diet. Crickets, Blaptica dubia, hornworms, Phoenix worms, and silkworms are all good.
