I think it is illegal. I searched it up and you keep a geen tree frog or malayan box turtle. I know, the law is crazy since the best beginner species of herp would be imo leopard geckos, corn snakes and crested geckos and the only species that could pose a threat to the environment is a crested gecko( which is endangered in it natural habitat) and none of these species provide a threat to humans. Unfortuneately, many countries, especially Asian countries and 3rd world countries when they hear reptiles they just think they are dangerous nasty animals, when they are not and a dog or cat in those countries would be a lot more dangerous as there are no vaccines and rabies and other diseases are prevalent and they could harm native species. Even if it is legal to keep, many of the local people may think you are odd or weird for keeping herps.
