Weird noise from leopard gecko

Hi. I have a leopard gecko named a\Ares and he has begun doing something odd. Now almost every night I hear my leopard gecko make this almost wheezing noise. Its almost always(if always) at night. I only hear it once (MAYBE twice). It's about an hour after all the lights off give or take, and he is pretty much fine otherwise. No discharge, no weird breathing after. It's hard to tell if it is even him making the noise because it's so quick so I go and look at him and he looks fine. The only other thing about him is he might have a VERY small case of MBD because when he walk (or at least when I'm holding him) He has bit of shaky legs but I have been treating that with proper vitamin schedule with feeding him every 3-5 days and every 2 feeding I feed vitamins with d3. So it would go Calcium-no-d3; Calcium-no-d3; Vitamins with 3d in that order. I guess I went off on a rant but I think I would like some insight on that as well. Any help is greatly apricated. Thank you

Hi ~

The wheezing you hear might be an upper respiratory tract infection. Temperatures that are too cool could cause an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • What are the warm end and the cool end ground temps as measured by the probe of a digital thermometer?
  • Have you 3 hides?
  • Is the moist hide also on the warm end?
Please share a video of your leo.

What exact brand of supplements do you use? Too much D3 as well as too little D3 could cause MBD.
