Hey , just wanted to share my new pet with all of you.

I have him in a 5 gallon Top Fin glass aquarium, it comes with a touch activated led light, and a pretty quiet filter with an assortment of different fake decor pieces.

He seems to gobble down crickets but wont touch mealworms. If anyone has advice or any knowledge of why let me know i have tons of extra mealworms in my colony.

Anyway here he resides, let me know what you think of the setup.

Very beautiful set up! How long have you had your fire belly? Sometimes they will not eat when settling in, though I don't have personal experience with fire bellied toads, it's a general rule that most animals avoid eating when first brought home

crickets alone are a fine diet for these guys. it's easy for them to get overweight as adults.

and yeah, the setup is great.

Glad my setup meets your approval guys. I've had him for a week or so, he ate his first day he got settled in to his new home.

I feed him every other day. First I try to offer meal worms which he has nipped at but never ate yet. I then feed him crickets and he gobbles them down like a mini pixie hah...

Still deciding what to call him.. maybe bulbasaur cuz I was big into pokemon.. as a kid in the 90s but dunno..

Pretty setup for your li'l guy! They're pretty and fun to watch, ime. I read somewhere that they like to hang out in groups. Don't know if that's true, but my 3 sure seem to be happy that way :). No fighting or other aggression. Mine eat mostly crickets, but they aren't averse to the occasional meal worm, fly, etc. They'd be jealous of your setup if they saw it, though. They'd probably bail on me and immigrate to your little buddy's "house" :).
