Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around here a lot lately, but have barely posted. So I wanted to introduce my new buddy!
Recently I lost my approx. 16 year old leo, Merlin (I still miss him very much). It made me sad to see the tank sitting there unused, all the hides empty and abandoned, so I revamped the setup (added another hide and switched to tile substrate from reptile carpet) and got a juvenile male, around 3 months old.
His name is Myrddin (Myr for short), which is the name of the original Welsh legendary figure who was the inspiration for Merlin's character in the King Arthur stories- sort of an homage to my first gecko!

He follows me intently with his gaze whenever I come into the room.

^ The "crib," if you will. The cage next door contains a Chilean Dwarf Flame tarantula.

"Psst, hey man. Want to buy some waxworms?"
