Internal bleeding?

Hi, it's been awhile since I've been on this forum. I think there's something seriously wrong with one of my leos, Toothless... He hasn't been eating for a few weeks at least. I didn't think it was too big of a deal until his tail became noticeably skinnier. I checked his belly and there's a large dark blue spot on it. I rarely handle him to I don't know how he could've gotten internal bleeding, maybe he fell off of his branch or cool hide onto the tile (they aren't terribly far off the ground)? I don't think its impaction because his temperature is perfect. I know how to treat impaction and would give him a bath but if it's internal bleeding I don't want to cause him too much pain. Does this sound like internal bleeding?
Info about him:
Substrate: half tile, half dry Eco earth
Heat source: heat mat, connected to a thermostat
Type of thermometer: digital with a probe
Temperature: 90 during the day on the warmside, 80 at night
Diet: I try to vary it, consists mostly of crickets
Age: about five years old, I doubt it's his organs showing

Please answer ASAP! Thanks in advance

Remove any dry Eco Earth that's NOT in the warm moist hide. That can be a source of impaction.

Thanks for the reply, the Eco earth was there to provide him with a more comfortable spot to sleep than the tile and a place to dig. I'd prefer not to use reptile carpet or paper towel. According to a member on here, impaction won't occur if you're absolutely confident you provide the correct care (which I was). It doesn't matter much now, though, because he's passed away :(

You're welcome. After he defecated did the entire blackish area disappear?

I'm very sorry for your loss.
