Should I use calcium powder with or without D3 for my leopard gecko?

I've been looking into getting a leopard gecko. I understand mostly everything, EXCEPT, wtf do I do with supplements?! This all seems so confusing. Some people say to use calcium with D3, some say that you should never use calcium with D3, but then, if you don't have a calcium powder with D3, how does your gecko get D3? Especially if they don't like lights? I just want to get everything right before I get my gecko and I am super confused! Please let me know some of the products you use. I live in Canada so if you know of any products I can find here that would be awesome!!!

Welcome aboard, Julie!

A leo needs calcium with D3 @ 1 feeding per week and a reputable multivitamin without D3 @ a separate feeding per week. If a gecko gets no D3, he will get metabolic bone disease (MBD).

Can you buy VetArk's Nutrobal and ProRep's Calci Dust? If not I use and recommend Zoo Med's supplements.

All supplements are not equal. Some are quite poor. We can recommend decent supplements.
Even for a hatchling I recommend the largest enclosure you can afford.
