How can you tell if your Leo has eye problems?

I have gotten a new Leo from the NARBC about a week ago and while she finally seems to be starting to eat, her eyes are almost always half shut. When they are not, I can see they are just as clear and healthy as they were when I bought her but I've seen that Albino Leos can have eye problems. Also, any amount of light in the room has her running away frantically. I turn on a desk-light to feed on the opposite side of the room so its super dim and even that freaks her out.

How can I tell if she has sight problems and how can I alleviate stress on her eyes more.

I had to switch to lower watt light bulbs, and find "softer" light as well. As for knowing for sure if there are any physiological issues I imagine a vet would be your best bet.

I use 15 watt LED daylight bulbs in my house. She doesn't have any lights above her enclosure. I would take her to the vet but I've only had her for a week and she is so stressed, I don't want to do that quite yet.

She might still be trying to settle in then. If possible just leave her be aside from food, spot cleaning, and water for another week. She may come around and be less skittish.
My male is an Albino and I had to rearrange things so the light in the room didn't reach his tank as much. He definitely has some extra light sensitivity compared to my female who is not an albino.
