I haven't heard much about everyone here and I think it would be lovely to hear about your first Leo or other gecko. Feel free to share any stories you have, learning experiences, close calls, memorable moments, your first gecko, etc. I want to hear it all!

I only have one leo currently(I hope to rescue leos in the future!). I got him in August after researching for 5 months and earning money for about 6. His name is Mango and I love him.

About 9 years ago when I moved out on my own, I wanted to get a pet. Was doing some research on a good first time small pet. I found leopard geckos and shortly after got my first little guy.
He ended up being my best friend and spurned the gecko love to unimaginable heights. I couldn't tell you how many geckos I've had since then. I have since slimmed down my collection of critters to a healthy 14 geckos across 6 different species. (I also have 5 snakes- They are so wonderful as well)
After a tough fight with an infection I lost my first boy a few years ago. I loved him so much and the gecko love that he showed for me that I got him tattooed on his favorite place: my shoulder. I still miss that big guy.
