Hi, I was handling my leo and I noticed if I picked it up, it made a weird noise, almost like it was straining. I picked it up behind where it’s front arms were and it was in a “C” position around my hand. It only made the noise if it tried to climb up my hand and it was in the “C” position around my hand. I’m not sure how to explain the noise but it didn’t seem like it was intentionally making it. The gecko looks fine and it doesn’t bother it but I’m concerned.

It sounds to me like your gecko may just be scared or uncertain. I'm no expert, but my younger female used to make little tiny squeaking/chirping noises when she was scared or stressed. once she got used to being handled (took about 3weeks) she stopped making the noise. I don't think it's something you need to worry about, but ask an expert to be sure.
