Are "Live Bait" crickets safe?

Is a cricket a cricket in this case? I don't want to wait a week or something buying from ebay and pet store is a couple of hours away. Plenty of live crickets at gas stations etc. As long as they are farm raised instead of wild caught, would this be ok.

Farm raised crickets are hopefully pesticide-free. Check to be sure.

If so, they'll work well for your leo Fozzy.

My thoughts would be unless you can be sure what these crickets are fed and how they are cared for, then no.
Live Bait insects do not need to be anywhere close to healthy or parasite free for example, merely alive long enough to achieve a catch.

A cricket is not a cricket in many cases, unfortunately and to me this does not sound worth the risk.
