I recently rescued this guy from craigslist, and he is in pretty bad shape. I just noticed that the end of his tail is very rough and has a little red nub on the tip. I really want to help him get the skin off, but I have never had to take retained skin off the tail before, and he is already pretty skinny (39 grams at 8 inches long), so I cannot afford for him to drop his tail! Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I try to take it off a heal it, or do I just let it die off? I know that red nub is already dead, but I dont want it to get worse! Please help!
