Shedding baby gecko toes help?!

So my 5 month old gecko is shedding for the first time since I’ve had her which is fine but it appears she isn’t getting it all off her toes but I don’t have her completely tame so I can’t just get her calm and get it off so what should I do to get it off without stressing her out?

You could soak her toes with warm water, then use a wet Q-tip to gently rub the toes to help the shed come off... Hopefully that should get it off. Is the shed hanging off in chucks? Or is it still stuck to the body?

If she's NOT letting you pick her up now, which I can relate to because I'm having the same issue with my brand new juvenile, just crumple up some moist paper towels and put them in her hide that she spends the most time in for now. Lift the hide up, wait for her to move, and put the moist paper towels under it, and she'll eventually go into it. This always does the trick for me. Don't worry, be patient...the skin will come off.
