Gecko screaming and biting at bulge?

For about a week I have occasionally heard my leopard gecko scream (not in a horrible way, just lightly), and then try to bite his bulge area. Do they do this when they are about to poop? I have noticed his bulge is a little bit bigger I suppose, but he seems to be pooping okay. Any ideas?

Is this a male? Sometimes the males clean their hemipenes. Also, sometimes there is a sperm buildup in there and they get some half-moon shaped white deposits that are sperm plugs. I have 2 males that need me to squeeze their bulges and evacuate this stuff about once a week (gross, yeah?) so it doesn't build up too much.

Yes he is a male, should I try squeezing it? When I first rescued him, he came with huge sperm plugs that the vet had to take out, so could this be a problem for him?

I've had 2 male geckos that also had to have their sperm plugs removed by a vet, so I squeeze them periodically to be on the safe side. If you apply pressure to the bulge, it will cause the penis to come out and the sperm plug is at the end. Just be careful not to push the penis out too far so the gecko doesn't end up with a prolapse.
